2000 !!!
wenn ich mich recht entsinne, war runde eins 1999 im interleague game, runde zwei im WS 2000. oder anders herum? nun wie war das alles...? mein rückblick sieht so aus (ich liste gerne die erfolge und geschichten der letzen 8 jahren aus!

1995 im alds ausgeschieden
1996 yanks meister!
1997 im alcs ausgeschieden
1998 sieg!
1999 sieg!
2000 sieg gegen mets!!! subway series yanks v. mets, subway-linie 4 gegen linie 7, bombers gegen metropolitans, bronx gegen queens...
2001 yanks im 7. spiel (ende 9. inning mit 1 aus und mo rivera aufm mound) gegen diamondbacks verloren. heartbreaker!
2002 im alds gegen die angels (meister 2002) ausgeschieden.
2003 im 6. spiel 2-0 verloren...

As for the game, the Yankees built a 6-0 lead before withstanding a ninth-inning Mets rally to earn a 6-5 win for their record 14th straight World Series victory.
